An "Algernod" by any other name...

...would NOT be getting sued over a shooting in a club. He'd be somewhere lampin' in the Hamptons, sitting poolside, fresh in a seersucker suit, with a tiny dog on his lap, sippin' tea out of a tiny cup with his pinky and his nose in the air.

However...ya boy Plies, born Algernod Washington **making waste of my Just My Sizes** is facing some ghetto charges.

Rapper Plies, born Algernod Washington, is one of several defendants in a lawsuit filed by five attendees at a 2006 Plies show.
The five plaintiffs were injured during a shooting at the show, and are seeking $10 million in damages.
"If they're suing Mr. Washington, they're suing the wrong person," said attorney Robert Rush to the Gainesville Sun. "He does not have legal liability. It is not an entertainer's job to provide security for a club where the entertainer is performing."
Plies' record label, Slip-N-Slide, and 283 West, the venue where Plies performed that night, are also named in the suit. The suit alleges negligence on the part of the defendants. Reports indicate that members of Plies' entourage - the rapper's brother, Ronell Lavatte, and Tory Carnegie - fired into a sold-out crowd after Plies' microphone was cut off, in order to let Lil' Boosie on stage.
Lavatte and Carnegie were accused of firing at least three rounds and were charged with attempted murder. Police found five loaded firearms and rounds of ammunition in their vehicle.

In A-nod's defense, these charges are maaaad bogus. Ain't his fault! Muhfuckas ALWAYS tryna get rich. What's next? Somebody gon' sue a club over getting their pinky toe stepped on? Or over somebody standing still in the club? And you KNOW what the judge'll sing when he's reading the charges: NO PARKIN' BAYBEH/NO PARKING ON THE DANCEFLOOR!
Wuht dee bloodclot?!
